KIMG0041[1].jpg dont ask me why the supermoto is more muddy than the dirtbike actually purchased the dirtbike after a huge failure on a trail ride 80/20 tires 80 street 20 dirt will only allow you the enter the trail and ride down the hill but when your are on your way back be prepared to push up hill because you will be spining like crazy wet leaves are the worst

I don't have much time on the husky, but I can tell you it is a better ride for me. I just do not ride on the street as much. The WRR is a great bike. The weight and gearing makes road duty much better than the TE. But when you hit the dirt the TE Shines over the WRR. The WRR is a handful in single track by comparison. The TE is just a better fit in my current application.

How do you get to this trail head out in Trabuco from NB area? Looks awesome! Also, thanks for the info on the oil. Kinda worried about what the mechanic said and the new info from you...thinking I need a second opinion. Can you recommend someone reputable in the OC?

Check out 3 bros racing in Costa Mesa. I have not used them but Tinken said they were good. I would even consider going out to his shop in Hesperia as he is the guru on this site and I hear his rates are decent. His background with the Husky factory team means you won't have to worry whether he knows what he's doing.

Have you ever heard of Holy Jim? From NB, take 405 s and exit El Toro. Go east about 5 miles until it gets rural and turn right at Cook's Corner Bar on Live Oak Canyon road. Take that about 3 miles and you will see a staging area on your left. This is about a mile from the end of t he canyon road where it turns into Plano Trabuco. Once at the staging area, head down the fire road about a mile, you will pass a remote controlled aircraft field. Once about a quarter mile pass that, you can access the trail. There is a gate blocking it so it looks inaccessible but right behind that is the real trail. It goes miles back into the mountains, I believe to the peak, but parts of it are very challenging with stock gearing and no rekluse. PM me if you can't find it. If you like it I'll have to meet you out there sometime, I live half a mile from the staging area.

Hey Nick thanks bro! Nice to know I don't have to drive very far to go ride. Lived in OC my hole life and had no clue you could ride in the dirt out there.. Go figure. I will have to hit you up sometime. Thanks!

Me either man, never knew it til I really explored. Another ride is to take El Toro east past Cook's Corner bar about 5 miles to Silverado Canyon Road and turn right. Take that to the dead end which is a trailhead up Saddleback Mountain. Awesome ride where you can connect trails to Corona and Ortega hwy. The view at the 5000 ft peak is something else.

That is a hot looking 511...though I gotta say the CandyLand color scheme wheels are a bit incongruous. :) Just having fun w/ you- cool bike.

good looking but I would like it better had you tied the blue and yellow strips together from panel to panel.
