That's the plan, loop of the snowies tomorrow, down to the coast and back inland the day after, then over the border and thru the Vic alps Thursday.

Great. I have a mate who lives in Bombala who knows all the roads in the Snowy's. The Omeo Highway from Mitta Mitta to Omeo is completely sealed now. It's a great ride from Mitta Mitta up and over Falls Creek to Mt Beauty.

    Have fun!

It was bike maintenance Saturday, installed some Cycra Gaurds, new Garacross front tire, and finished coverting to silicone hoses, did the carb today. 20140426_173113.jpg 20140426_173131.jpg 20140426_173150.jpg

I just don't know how you Yanks keep your bikes looking so neat and tidy. Mine looks like it's gone ten rounds with Mike Tyson.

    Chewed off ears and all.

I use a silicone tyre shine all over the bike. Looks good parked before a ride & really helps later as the dirt & mud doesn't stick as much.

Quite obviously, it doesn't go anywhere near the controls or the brakes

Thanks Teambowles, so you're saying that just leaving it out in the rain isn't going to cut it?

Try one and see! They grip like crazy, unless you are knee deep in mud they are a great all around trail tire. Especially in rocky terrain. Also they are great in rooty woods riding as well.
