We are planning a camping, riding trip to East Fort Rock, China Hat, Camp 25. November 2 - 5, 2017, 15 - 20 riders going now. Everyone is welcome, it is always a good time! Who Is in?
It looks we have to many schedule conflicts on the 1st weekend of November. Date change to 2nd week November 9 - 12-2017, camp 25. Hopefully the weather will cooperate.
Whenever I ride there it is always perfect weather. Pouring rain and snow and upper 30's Worst case would be a drought, hot and dusty.
Kelly, you'd pretty much be welcomed anywhere with a 250i! And bring the Trail Tech crowd- it's not that far for them is it?
Will do. I've talked to several people that have ridden them and the reports are mixed and not exactly glowing. We will see.
We had a local guy do the ISDE on the ktm. Read that he loved it but haven't actually seen much. As usual, magazine tests are just to hold me over until someone really reviews it lol. Thank you!
was just riding there a couple weeks ago super fun, like a hotwheels track for a dirtbike. If my bike is fixed, might grab my crew and try to arrange a trip up there around that time! Careful about camping up there without proper gear you'll wake up not feeling your legs get so cold haha to everyone going
Sure wish I wasn't so far away from this event. I would love to make it, but it's just too long a haul from So Cal.
Not a bad drive though. I do it alot. Stop in Redding or Mt. Shasta and sometimes if I leave early can make it back before too late in 1 day. I may go. Anxious to get my bike back from ZipTy.
There you go stop in Redding dinner night. I'll buy first beer or mt Shasta n I'm sure trench will do the same
That's a l-o-o-o-n-g haul. Besides, I think DD is almost 3hrs farther south than you maybe? Mimi- if you go, break it up... you can fish at Clear Lake and ride Cow Mountain for a day (or above upper lake); hell, stretch it to Redding and fish Shasta Lake and ride Chappie-Shasta. or stay at Stonyford; ride & fish there too. btw, Clear Lake & Stony are about an hour off of I-5. OTOH, I-5 splits Shasta Lake. bring a jacket.
