    There's a video on page 2.
For anyone who would like to see the finished bike checkout the latest set of pics I've put up (page2), it's been out in the mud, done a few hill climbs & ripped up my mates farm tracks.
Old school 2STROKE power with new bike handling & brakes.....
Finding the right place to ride in southern Sydney isn't easy, as most will know I have to travel a couple of hours but it will be worth it

Well today I went & rode my new toy & WOW, I love it.

It handles great, goes beautifully & I'm one happy auto owner. The brakes are a treat & it flows from corner to corner on single trail, I'm still adapting to the way it picks up speed from a corner & then free wheels into the next, pretty sure I used more than my share of brake pads today. I'm also thinking of fitting my steering damper as it's a little skitish on rough downhills but I'm not sure if that's because the engine is a 60 mm further forward because it's longer or the suspension isn't set up properly but time & persistance will tell.
It does have a few niggles, like me getting a proper starting technique as the foot peg is in a different spot to the old frame & interfears with a staight kick as well as having to find something to stand on to start it as the height of the kick start is out of reach when on flat ground now I'm 5'10" so I'm not on the short side but longer legs would be nice, the cooling system might not be up to the job as when the going gets a little tight or stopped on a hill (operator error) it starts to over heat from the water pump housing, I need to work out how to seal it better (I have an alloy pump housing)& see if I can make the cooling system more effient for slow running(bigger radiators or thermo fan). The easiest is the suspension that needs to be set up for the additional weight of the engine & my beer barrel gut.
I also plan on sending the engine to one of Austarlia's best auto tuners to extract some more power & bomb proof the transmission.
It's going to be my secondary bike to ride as these things are money pits to maintain but it will be ridden.
Happy trails all & if your in Oz & see me out there come & have look up close.

Well I sent the motor away for some port work & I get it back in a couple of days(just a bit excited). I'll get the jetting right & then I hope to get some video footage to put up for all too see.
On another front I got my self a Husky CR 500 to play with which will keep me honest for awhile.

It's in my cousin's gokart, I could ask him if he'd sell but I think you'd be looking at around $1500.
Let me know if you want me to ask.

    Wow wonderfuild job!!

One question though as I'm guessing you're planning on riding this quite a bit. Aren't you worried about availability of the clutches? I know you mentioned you fixed your own and what not in the past but to do all that work every 500 miles is quite a bit. I ride atleast 500 miles a year, I don't know how much you ride but a clutch every year can get expensive.

Either way, great job it looks sweet!

Paul still doing some Husky stuff is a joy to hear.

Husky used to send bikes to Paul and he would play with them and send them back.
    Before they were released.:oldman:
Hell of a nice guy as well.

To stop the auto's overheating guy's [ some on this forum ] used to fit a right hand KTM radiator [ a lot longer ] and a overflow bottle.
Your exhaust looks to stop that idea.
