I came across this and thought it was worth sharing. The image is Cairoli chasing Herlings 25ft in the air. Never ceases to amaze me how far the sport of motocross has come in terms of technology and talent, both of which have created some impressive speed. BTW Tomac got the hole shot and won this race with an impressive 17 sec lead over Herlings who was a ways back at 10th or 11th after the first turn. The race was the US MXGP in Jacksonville FL 2017. They're at it again this year, but Herlings is proving he's just as much The Bullet on a 450 as he was on a 250.
That's that quad jump; Eli was not doing it if my memory is correct and he still had the fastest lap time; Plus he was really cool and classy talking about the EU riders; Same as the EU riders are usually always classy guys; Our sport has classy people around the globe; Easy to say most sports are not on our level in this case.
