  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Mivv exhaust

Looking forward to seeing your report on the exhaust. Id love to know if the extra canister does anything...

Exhaust looks great as does Fred

Thanks for the cool comments guys.
The cannister is supposed to do the same job as a megabomb/powerbomb. My mates got a megabomb on his crf which makes an unbelievable difference so hoping this will do the same. Hopefully I don't have to do anything with the mapping but if I do I don't mind. I'll have to get one of them there power commanders I assume.

I like flange or clunge best for lady parts!!!

Love the look of that Mivv. Love to hear your ride report. I have a Mivv mid section on my 1200 Multistrada where the cat accidently fell off. Love the sound

Cheers man, I'm well chuffed with it, love it!!!
Stupid me as usual holding my phone the wrong way for the video.
Took it for a blast to work and back today. Initial impressions are that the difference in the bike is pretty spectacular !!
It sounds to rev much more freely, the power off the bottom end is improved hugely, definitely a large improvement in torque off the bottom of the revs. Sound is not a great deal different to standard. It could be me hoping this but anyway it seems to sound less restricted if that's possible.
The crazy Italians appear to have hammered the decibel reducer into the end so I can't get it out even with a pair of grips on it. It would be too loud for me anyway.
Quality is outstanding, the welding is excellent.
I need to do a bit of fiddling with the guards to get them in the right place. Might try and get the standard ones to fit back on.
Havn't managed to have a proper go with it in higher revs, but first impressions are that it's a winner !

That zort is a cracking bit of kit ;)

WOW that muffler is HUGE! I personally couldn't use that for woods riding. I crash to often and it would get beat to hell with me riding lol But if your are using it for road use I guess its not to bad. I bet the torque is nice with it seeing as how long it is.
