I have an 11 TE 250 that runs great...but there is a bit of "bog" right off idle. I was thinking I'd check the throttle cable adjustment & valve adjustment. Any other suggestions? Thanks!

I have the same bike. I don't notice any bog.

You have to tune it out with I-beat.

The throttle cables have nothing to do with it.

Also, the bikes with the yellow 4pt injectors are not as "snappy" as the 2012's with the green injectors. You have to roll the throttle and use the clutch a bit more to feed the power.

Always a good idea to check valve clearance. Run the ex valve under the decompressor like .001" tight.
    cnyboy and Trenchcoat85 like this.

My 2008 TC450 has a bog off idle as well. Any time I snap on the throttle it acts like it's going to die for a second before it picks up and goes. If I don't snap the throttle too quick it works just fine but I am trying to figure out if it's just carburetor set up or if I need to swap to a less restrictive exhaust, or look at valves or other mechanical problems
