• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Loss hydraulic oil in the engine by the clutch actuator

Rotax_655

Husqvarna
AA Class
The clutch lever was very slow today I opened the lid and found the empty tank clutch I think I Have the ' actuator clutch broke Leaky hydraulic oil in the engine You have tips ? I can replace the o-ring which is in the piston ?

You can replace the o-rings, or replace the slave cylinder with a factory part or the improved version from ZipTy racing.

Are you sure you are not losing fluid at the master cylinder? Mine leaks at the piston (the previous owner even gave me a replacement piston and o-ring that I haven't had a chance to install yet)
Apparently it is a common issue: google "husqvarna te 630 clutch master cylinder" and you'll find multiple links (including several to this forum)

the loss is definitely from the actuator on the engine crankcase .
I'll try to fix it with a new o-ring or even better x ring 23,52x1,78

If its leaking into the engine oil, I assume the problem is in the slave cylinder. How do you know its in the engine oil?

I 'm sure the hydraulic oil and ' ended up in the engine because there was no esterma loss of hydraulic fluid outside the motor

If it's not down the side of the engine or all over the handlebars, that's about the only place it could be going, and there's only a single o-ring on the stock piston..

Sorry guys because I have to wait more than 5 days to see published my posts here on this forum ? in this way it is very difficult to talk with you !

assa a italianoChiudi schermo interoHydraulic oil clutch I wanted to buy an ISO VG 32 oil with high viscosity index mineral.
This oil is comparable to a SAE 10 .
the best is the " Arnica 32 " , but only available in packages of 20 liters .
alternatively try to find similar oil of this type .
Mobil ATF 220
Tutela GI / A
Castrol DX2
Total fluid ATX
Tamoil 2D ATF
are all mineral-based oils

About 4 months ago I noticed my clutch lever was very soft and barely engaging the clutch. I checked the fluid reservoir and it was practically empty. There is no sign of leakage up by the master cylinder beneath the reservoir so my guess is that it is leaking near the engine crankcase. I refilled the reservoir and it still works normally so it appears to be a slow leak.

My orange bike did that once. A great place to get metric orings is a hydraulic shop. They have metric kits and sell individual ones for cheap. Cam.
