It's time to rebuild the CR360 with new piston kit,...so looking at a new VM38 carb and new reeds aswell.
What's the general feeling on reeds; Vforce reeds, Boysen reeds....individual reeds or a reed block?
    Thanks.....
    Andy

    I have both in my 78 390's.
Boyesen's are good, but not a patch on the V Force. The only down side is trying to get the V Force reeds to seal properly in the manifold. I am on my second attempt to get a lasting seal. The first application of silicone lasted about a year. I have now moved to a different brand. I will let you know when I have got around to finishing it.
By the way .... both mine are running Lectron carbs. Not Mikuni's.

Ok Grouty.....Thankyou. Are the Vforce reeds specifically for a 390? Is there a model type of Vforce reeds? Andy

No I don't think so. If your reed block is the same as the 390 then they will fit. I am not sure if there is a difference between the 360 and 390 blocks.
Speak to Andy at HVA Factory. I got my reeds from him.
