Longer chain

    Hey everybody, do I need a longer than stock chain if I buy a +2 49tooth rear sprocket?

    Yes. I accidentally cut my chain one link short and it was too small.

    http://www.gearingcommander.com/ is a great resource for benchtesting sprocket combinations.
    According to it's calculations, if you got +2 teeth on the rear sprocket you can still use the 112 link chain and the distance between the sprockets will be reduced 1/3".

    I just installed sprocket and its a no go, need longer chain, and i cant find a master link on old one. if stock chain is 112 link ( right ) i need a longer one. wheres a good source? thanx alot everybody..:)
