I'm planning a solo trip there in the next couple of weeks. Never been there. My buddies don't ride anymore. Any advice on where to camp to be closest to the best trails. I have a 07 TE250 with a plate and an H series KDX 200. Do I need to take the plated bike for trail access to the various trail heads or is the green sticker bike ok ? Camping at Troy Meadows campground will put you right on the trails. Costs money to camp there, but you can have a campfire usually and there is running water and bathrooms. Fishcreek also. Overflow camps like Fishcreek overflow are not developed, but you don't have to pay.
Kennedy is on my list of places I've wanted to ride for years. It's very attractive that it's cool pine forest I can ride my red sticker 250 in.
