Hundreds of happy riders have proven it's no problem. As long as you leave the connector in place that runs the 2nd Butterfly actuator, the ECU doesn't know the difference. I removed the O2 sensor years ago as it only works with Map1 (aka jumper removed)

The EFI makes corrections to the tables based on the MAP sensor as well as all the other sensors (TPS, Coolant, air temp etc)
With the secondary butterfly in place, the MAP sensor still sees a partial vacuum when the main throttle is opened and adjusts fuelling to suit.
Even with the 2nd butterfly removed, the ecu sees whatever manifold pressure there is based on the MAP sensor and adds fuel accordingly.

    Hi Dangermouse
I removed the second butterfly on my TE 449 Supermoto but still have the idle roller arm installed...
would u recomend to also remove it?
can u tell me if the fuel/air ratio is impacted by removing the second butterfly?
Im a bit scared to just test it full power on the streets...
dont want something unecpected to happen and to fly out of a turn :)

    THX man apreciate it

Take out the second butterfly and remove the swedged lug on the idle roller pulleys arm as well.
The AFR will have nothing to do with that mod, it has everything to do with what map you are running.
Go to Map 3 also known as the Akro map is recommended.
Tune ECU is your friend for this.
Unless you are running a PC 5.
