    Hi!

    I have bought a Husqvarna TE 310 MY2013.
Unfortunately the fuel pump broke after my first ride.
I've tried a few, but they all do not seem to provide the pressure needed.
I know some of you recommend the one from ca-cycleworks but as I live in Germany, I would most likely buy one from here as I already had problems with a fuel pump from Great Britain which now could not be given back.

Does maybe anybody have some data on the original fuel pump (especially pressure), so I could check before I buy a bunch of them again?

Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad English
    Jonathan

    Your english is perfect.

I'm slightly incredulous that multiple pumps did not provide enough pressure. Typically, raw pressures (70-90psi, uh 5-6bar) are regulated down to operating pressures (If I recall correctly, 42psi on our bikes). I am thinking that your multiple pumps are fine.

It sounds like you have a split internal hose, a split or clogged filter, or bad pressure regulator. Have you measured the pressure of the fuel on the outlet hose? You may have to press the starter button a couple of times to get a good reading if the bike is not running.

Most 30mm automotive-motorcycle FI pumps will work.

If the problem is not pressure, the injector may be clogged.

    good luck.

Yup! No way all those pumps are weak.

Make sure the fuel filter is not split and leaking pressure back into the tank.

I'd swap in a new filter.

My 2013 TXC250 is regulated to 50 psi. I believe all 2013 variants of the TE/TC/TXC have the same pump and regulator.

Jonathan, the pumps you have tested to date, are they fuel injection pumps? If you are stuck, I can send you a pump and pressure gauge for testing.

nice offer kurt! (...did you see the part where he is in Germany tho?)

50psi- yeah, i can never remember if it's 3 bar or 3.5 bar so thanks. however, if it's above 30lbs it should at least start.

I totally forgot I posted a thread here. The fuel pump was in fact the root of the problem. I had a hard time finding a cheap one that works with the Husqvarna. Now I'm having starting issues (I posted a new thread), but at least the bike is running ;)
    Thanks for helping out!
