    1973 Husqvarna 250wr
    Other Motorcycles:
    1997 Suzuki RM250
    Im looking for the original style of tanks for my 73 and 74 husqvarna 250wr. My question is the 73 husqvarna 450wr tank the same size as the 73 250wr tank

    73 450WR 6spd motor in a 75 MK frame
    My understanding is that in 1973 the 450 Desert Master replaced the 72 450WR. The Desert Master had the huge 4 gallon yellow tank. This is not the tank that came on the 73 74 250WR.

    Here are the models that came with the 2.5 gallon round tank that was on the 73 and 74 250 WR's.
    70 - 72 all 400, 360 and 250 not including the Sportsman.
    72 both 450 WR and CR.
    73 250 and 360 RT's.
