This winter I have upgraded my 570, to make it as easy to ride and modern as i possibly can. The engine has got the same spec as Jonny Lindhe had on his world championship machine, when he rode motocross world championship in 2001-2002. Halvards Motor built engines for both Jonny and Anders Eriksson when they ran 570. I Bought a Pro Circuit pipe also. Have also mounted Kayaba TC forks from 2011. Marco from Bernaracing have modified a Honda Öhlins TTX shock to fit 570, he also revalved and changed spring for my weight. I have also upgraded the plastic and decals, to better match the newer bikes. Some before and After pictures:
nice exhaust pipe and I got to say I love the Ö! Can´t see me liking the plastic conversion. I love how the 570 looks, but that´s up to you.
Nice work! From the pics it looks like you have a newer carb, could that possibly be an FCR41mx? Any info on converting from the Del' Orto would be appreciated. Intake boot and air horn need to be changed from OE to fit? Brought a 2001 TC570 back from the dead, but the carb is in sad shape. thanks, and great job.
here in Germany, most of the 610 fans rides their bikes with a mikuni flat instead of the dello. The engine runs smoother and has more power at higher rpm than the stock one.
Took a lot of elbow grease the old fashion way. Some diluted thunderbolt aluminum cleaner to start, very sparingly. Then moved to scotch Brits, steel wool, and mag wheel polish. Had many late nights in the garage. Slowly acquiring all new plastics and have factory husqvarna graphics to apply when all is collected. Upgraded to some 2007 TC510 black wheels, and am down to just a carb update. I'll post more pics as it comes together. Thanks for the input.
