Yeah but we'll break you back in over here this fall for sure...Hopefully more than last time.

Gotta remember, the elderly lose their memories along with their constitutions...

I changed post #1 in this thread as you requested, but I'm slightly confused...

You found the 'Housekeeping' button, can you also see the 'edit' button which is close to the Housekeeping button on your own posts? (You should be able to edit your own posts)

I'm old and forgot what the 'constitution' word means in this case ... Does this mean we need to wear diapers again?

The weather wizards are predicting moisture in small amounts. 30ish degrees at night and 60's daytime. Whoope, it's gonna be great weather

Oh Dog DoDo, now the weather is suppose to be mostly sunny and temps in the 60's. And I was all set for rain and cold weather. Just can't depend on the weather wizards.

That was a fun time. Those that didn't go, didn't have as much fun as we did.

Friday afternoon as I was coming up the road nearing the turn for the Road 25 area, a pickup was on the side of the road stopped. I stopped and asked if they were ok, the guy said he was fine, he was just in phone service "checking Bend Craigslist for a used dirt bike." I didn't think much of it and said ok and off I went to camp. Then I thought about it a bit...

I mentioned that to Gramps and Jason, and that maybe a bike had just been stolen from the area. Jason said he'd brought a locking cable along, so we snuggled the Italian and the two Spaniards together to lock them up at night.

We made our obligatory trip up to the East Butte fire tower. Holy woh the trail up to that was more torn up than I've ever seen it.

Today we made a northern loop, there was a nice spot of trail that overlooked the valley, with the Three Sisters as the backdrop.

I'd been warned that the trails were "destroyed" by the previous weekends poker run and ISDE - but we found them to be mostly pretty good. COHV had also already been out smearing things out with their baby dozer, it's so dry that that created a different trail type challenge: You can't pack fluffy dust, so it was a lot like riding the dunes, except limited to a narrow channel.

Yesterday (Saturday) afternoon we came across a group on the 40 trail that had gone head-on with itself shortly before; one of them was seriously injured. After assessing the situation and asking the patient a few questions, it was immediately determined that he had to be hauled out. Thankfully, I'd purchased a real GPS (rather than just using my phone) and marked the location so I could ride to service and get EMS on the way. Have you ever packed a 190 pound dude across 400 yards of sagebrush on a backboard? Jason and I have.

Because I'm supposed to go to work at some point tomorrow, I decided to come home tonight rather than pack up at oh my god o'clock in the morning. Gramps and Jason are still there.

Don't rush the doctors advice, you got the rest of your life to ride. Besides you do want to get something for all the money you paid him, right. Gramps
