Call R&D husky (Sydney) or Full Throttle (Qld). They know the Italian Huskies well.

Dunno, I'd have thought the bottom clamps would be husky spec and only carts and stations were KYB, if ye get my drift ?

I don't know Rabs, but, MXA had issues with brittle plastics on the 2013 cr144
    ---
Q: WHAT WAS THE WORST THING ABOUT THE HUSQVARNA CR125/144?
A: The plastic is so brittle that during our test we broke the front fender, front number plate, both fork guards and the lower radiator winglets. It should be noted that we didn’t break the plastic in a crash; it either broke of its own accord or was cracked by roost. We’ve never seen this on any other bike, but it has happened with every Husqvarna we’ve tested. We put older model KTM fork guards on the forks?they fit perfectly. As for the front fender and front number plate, we replaced them when they broke

This from the 'Brittle plastics' thread....

I've just dealt with Full Throttle in Brissy. Ordered a Husqvarna specific flywheel puller over the phone. They seemed to know their stuff. Service was polite and efficient. Fingers crossed the puller turns up.

with all due respect to the local guys, Aus prices are round 60-100% more expensive than overseas, which isnt the dealers fault more so husqvarna aus
Try NTB racing in NZ or Bills in the US, shipping is only around 4-6 days so no issue there

2010 - 2014 beta will fit, as will upto 2010 crf450x. Haven't been able to figure the ktm yet but FYI the front axle block seem the be very common on heaps bike - not fork brand specific. Beta are a better deal at 15-19 each depending on colour, Hondas are about the same but the brake line clamp is on the wrong side.

The main reason we pay so much for bike parts here is that most of them come in from the US. (Yami, Honda & last time I checked Husky)
That said the prices seem to have fallen just lately on the 449 I have anyway.

I have been buying off Hall's Cycles in the US, great service from them with good freight pricing. (Got another $250 order on the way now actually) :)
