    I had heard in an old interview it is pronounced " Joe L Rowbear" The t is silent

    Joel Robert hails from Belgium and is a multi time GP motocross champion and the predecessor of Roger DeCoster. I met him when I was racing and living in Belgium. A truely great man, a pioneer of motocross.
