Help identifying these shocks

I brought these home from my buddies part stash and would like to verify the manufacturer of these shocks . 1st contestant is a pair of remote reservoir shocks . On the body near the hose it was stamped ha 3-4 . View attachment 87081 View attachment 87081

That's just what I was thinking , thank you . Any specific model on the WP and Reiner ? I need to rebuild these and will start looking for parts soon .

Yes he is , it works both ways . These are his shocks getting them ready for use on projects . These are just a few , I have about 2 tubs worth of shocks to go through as I get the time . All are for his Maico collection . Do to his business he just doesn't have the time to do this so I'm helping him out . Every time I visit him I drop off whatever projects have been completed and bring something else home as I have the room . This winter I only have 4 of his bikes at my house . 1 Husky and 3 Maico's . A 420 auto Husky , an 85 Maico 250 which I'm planning on bringing back this spring and then there are the 2 1981 Maico 250's with the round back frames that will take longer to complete . Slowly but surely I'm getting through them , a good freshening up and sorting thru any issues that are found . I was just trying to remember how many of his Maico's I've brought back to Ct and realized I've lost count , must be CRS ! I'm just hoping both my friend and I will be around to see everyone of these bikes run and maybe video all of them running . He jokes with me that we should get them all out on his track at one time just to have a Moto of nothing but Maico's . If we ever did that I would definitely have to take out my 81 430 just to be the oddball .

That third one is a Reiger? Looks just like all the 80's KTM WP shocks I rebuild.

Are you talking about the single piggyback with the grey reservoir ?

I was thinking both single shocks are WP4681’s. They started in the 80’s with red reservoirs and matching aluminum knobs, and changed to grey and black plastic around 91.

Ok so on the red reservoir shock the stamping is m 5 86 , date of manufacture maybe ? The grey one is the one I really wasn't sure about , the only stamping I found so far is ma500 b . So the ma could be for Maico . The 500 model of Maico it came off of ? That grey shock is the only one like it that he has that's why I'm trying to I'd this one ? Thanks .

That typically means May ‘86 mfg, yes.

Does WP have any marks or stamps to look for other than what I already found ?

No other markings that I'm aware of. Just the stuff you found on the reservoir neck.

Shock 2 is a White Power with a purple Reiger spring. Its not a Reiger shock
