Heads-up: rear brake

    Just a warning. On my machine the spring split pin holding the brake pads pin in place disappeared somewhere along the road. The pads pin is an interference fit and fairly tight but you certainly wouldn't want it to go west as well.

    It is now.
    Split pin is standard.

    Mine came new with the split pin installed and tie wired to the brake line.
    Note that it is not necessary to cut the wire (as I did) to remove the clip to change brake pads.

    maybe the dealer did it when he assembled the bike.
