Guy Giroux, will be racing a 2010 Husqvarna in the Canadian Enduro Championships and FSMQ Hare Scrambles next season. Guy is the winningest off-road racer in Canadian history. More details will be posted this weekend from the Toronto Bike Show.
He raced the CEC rounds in 2009 for BMW Motorrad on a G450X but bought a CR125 from me on his own dime last summer. Guy has ridden just about everything over the years except for a Husky. He has ridden mostly for KTM and Suzuki in the last 7-8 years.
Canadians do lots of things better than we do. I once saw an interview of some high-up minister, (I forget who she was though) and she was shocked, SHOCKED that a guy who admitted that god spoke to him could get elected. Said she "couldn't imagine" that happening in Canada. Plus you also have that terrible health care up there that you all apparently hate. I do not understand why the two societies are so different.
Scotty Whoo was the wild canadian who looks like a Viking who raced the last man standing in lke 05-06 on a Husky? I thought that was Guy?
we always have a pretty fast canadian come and race the snow run in CT every year, patrick beaule(sp?)is his name, cool guy and his wife also races
Guy G. is a great personality. He has that crazy french sense of humour. I look forward to talking to him at the bike show.
A pic of Guy on podium. He is the guy (and Guy) on the right. Also a pic of Guy's girlfriend Karine who rides the Husky 125...I want to be a better dirt rider
You know what i like about this statement He bought a CR 125 on his own dime Well that says it all once you ride a CR 125 it is all over Top factory rider goes from a 450 to a 125 must be something about the joy of ringing out a CR 125
I did post pics of Karine...but all my pics are now gone from my posts....what the heck happened?????? Edit: Ok I tried links instead of thumbnails...see if it works
