    Hello All,

Today I put deposit to a 08 TE250, but I do not know much about Husqvarna. I think I will initially need the following parts.
    - Lowered/adjustable pegs
    - Bar riser
    - Skid plate
    - Rack and bag
    - Detailed service manual
    - Aftermarket plastics?
    - maybe sprockets

Power-up kit is already there. Is there any other common mod I should consider?

    Thanks,

    Burhan

    Hey Burhan

Was this a non-current new 2008 or did you buy it as a resale? If it is a new bike then I suggest you talk to Hammer (Armin) about stripping it down and lubing all the important parts. Typically the new bikes are not lubed properly from the manufacturer. Plus he will anti-seize and loc-tite the important nuts and bolts.

Forget everything else for now except the skid plate and make sure you have rad guards. Eric Russell at A Vicious Cylce can help you out (or Scott).

    Congrats BTW

I got it from Scott. It has 138km on it.

Was it his demo or a trade in?

I am not joking about taking the time to make sure the bike has been greased and bolts tightened etc etc

Here is one thread about lack of grease in the swingarm etc.

If I was you I talk to Armin (Hammer).

As far as I know, somebody bought it and gave it back after one ride.

I will look into greasing, lubing.

    Yes, I saw that.
There was a half a page of recommended mods, and 2 pages of popular mods for my KLX250. I guess TE250 is pretty much ready to ride.

    Cheers,
