For supermoto they are Junk, Ran one for a race day and it was medium compound wore out before my last moto. Scariest tire I have ever ridden on. Played with the dealer on tire pressure and still could not get it right. All the SMEC guys run them because they are a series sponsor. They go through a set every race. They wear like a qualifying tire and grip is Junk.

I’ve heard about other people who’re not satisfied with those tires.
Listen to this racer, Mauno Hermunen, the current S1 World Champion: at 5:12 he talks about his experience with Goldentyre:

I've spent a lot of time on medium compound Michelins, Think I went through 5 rears this season with about 30hrs of seat time, but the UK spec Dunlops are as good or better than the Michelins. Both wear well and traction is 2x that of the Goldens. The Dunlops are hard to find in the US and Expensive but they work great.

Dunlop, Bridgestone or Michelin supermoto specific slicks are what everyone over here uses, a few guys have started using Goldspeed too. As stated, the only reason people use golden tyres is they either have to, or are sponsored by them.

I have a 2 CT pilot on the front. I think i'll look for a pilot for the back. For now i only ride it on the street but the tire on the back now looks like it should be on a ninja 250. Sold the bike to a buddy and bought it back... He wasnt sure of what tire to throw on the back.
Thanks for the input. I almost ordered a goldentyre slick.
Man..i hope. Mauno never becomes a teacher. He is one hell of a rider but man he can put you to sleep when he talks!

I run Conti SMs on my 610. I wouldn't use it as a race tire (did do a few track days on it, worked fine for me), but as a street tire I like it just fine.

Yeh the contis are ok for the street. They are a bit unpredicatable when pushing them. I really like the Michelin pilot 2 CT
