Getting some peeps together to knock around JV May 4-5 2013

I think this will be a Saturday & Sunday day ride thing. Some guys coming each day to keep things smaller.

Took a little tour of Cal City area today. 150 miles... Cal City, Rands, El Pasos, Dove, Jawbone and back to Cal City. 50/50 fast stuff and fun stuff.

Getting warmed up for Johnson Valley this weekend at Cougar Buttes again. May 4-5 2013. :clap

Sunday I am looking to take a simi-fast ride with my boys to Willy Boys Memorial marker then drop down an unknown ridge road into Johnson then back to landers. JV is looking to be about 89 deg Sunday and 92 deg on Sat.

I do not put high hopes on any weather service actually providing correct info. I Look at weather.gov for 29 palms.

Summary, the riding temp, not bad for riding in May

That makes sense... it's a bit hotter out there.

Thats a lot of flags on the map... you stop that often ? Bwaaahahahahahaha

Must be a trail tech thing. Need to check my settings.

Just means your GPS has a lot of memory and your tracks a lot of detail. Good when you are zoomed in trying to find a trail head.

I checked, most of the Flags are from Google Earth tagging each hand drawn route i made. Had me worried for a moment I do not recall ever stopping much
I have not found any tracks from my trips @ the NW end of JV.
