Gearing For A 1978 Cr 390

    Time for some sprockets, but I have not ridden this bike so have no feel for gearing. They came with 13/53 which seems a reasonable starting point. Use will be some track and some tight southeastern trail riding. Any suggestions for this?

    Yes that is a good combination. You will probably not want to change it after you get a chance to ride with that sprocket combination.
