    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Hello knowledgable Husky riders,

I'm trying to find out where I can get a 2009 TE-610 Gasket set ... My motor is in pieces at the moment at the mechanic, and he needs me to source a gasket set.

I have been looking myself ever since I found out that it is Very difficult to get parts for these particular machines!! The only place I have found that seems to actually claim the correct year is on ebay of all places. I have a 2008 TE 610 ie. I also found this site in Italy. https://italhusky.com . It may actually have the parts you need!! Will be sourcing at least a top end rebuild kit for my own bike as soon as I can to have it for the future! Good Luck mate
 
Hi. Unfortunately no joy at italhusky. I’ve found various gasket sets on eBay but the suppliers aren’t sure they’re suitable for a 2009... they all seem to be listed for earlier models. Did you ever find a set that’s confirmed for 2008/2009? If so, do you have a link? — even on eBay.

If that link is correct i think we may have found the holy grail... i will be contacting that company and making up a complete gasket kit and see what price they come up with.. Hope this helps mate!

Thanks, after some research I found out the complete gasket set from www.athena.eu corresponds to the original part numbers, at least from the photos ... so I went ahead and ordered that complete set.
