‘06 510SMR leaking gas into cylinder! I tried to start and it was hydro (gasoline) locked! Pulled plug and ran starter and gas sprayed out. Lol! I dumped oil and half a tank of gas was in there? Wtf? What do you guys think? Stuck float is my first guess? My head hurts from huffin’ gas fumes all day!

I never leave the gas tap on unless I am on a ride, and I drain my carb after every ride on my old TE 450. So, I never have that problem.

I never had that problem either until yesterday. And I do keep petcock off when not riding. It still does not fix underlying issue. Gas should not be leaking into the cylinder!

    A bunch of others.
Replace float needle and seat. The brass seat has an O-ring that is a common failure point as well.
