I missed the National to run this race and it did not disapoint. They had a reloop in the second loop that had NHHA hard terrain. The old WR cruised right up all the nasty hills the big 450s were struggling with. I just asked myself "What would John Kearney do? Ride smart and never stop." Here's my pit stop on the way to 120 OA and 1st Sen Lwt Nov. I passed a lot of young guns and higher class riders on the second loop.
Way to go Grasshopper As we get older we get smarter and as the race wears on we do better Love the part where you say passed the young guys
Those first 4-5 races of the season were always my favorite.... great dirt and better weather.... Red Mtn was never very nice to me....
It was a fun race. Only did the first loop but really liked the rocky hills. Could've done without the whoops but it is Red Mountain after all. Be sure to come out to the Virgin Voyage in April - we always keep it interesting.
