at least it's got an Aprilia engine..........(maybe rotax???)

the SMQ carries red headed BMW 450X motor.

PS the nice Ape is in the upper right of the photo!!! the MX450 is very well finished.

The exhaust looks like a parallel twin. Does Aprilia make one. It probably does not have a real motor at all.

Did you see the colors of the early Aprilia trials bikes?
Every time I would get it out, my wife would just break out laughing:lol:.
Must be a family member of the trials bike designers:banghead:

    Yeah, I don’t know Kelly
Unlike the disgusting SMQ:thumbsdown: (your words, mine would be worst…), this Aprilia looks like it’s ONLY a headlight away from being something really unique (and pleasing to the eye) to own :excuseme:

As it is it looks like Aprilia’s take on the Confederate Wraith

I need those tires on my Multistrada. And please don't call the MTS the ugly duckling, they grow on you once you see what it can do (or rather you can do on it)

just styling exercises....been done in the auto/moto world for a long time, public opinion test. Where do we go next? At least the euros are building outside the Japan style morph box. (the exhaust is Buellish too)

4 me the SMQ is a slick canyon carver style ( kind of a Roland Sands style naked bike)with the exception of the nose,, its like a barn door as far as aero dyn goes, its just a styling exercise,,,,but the BMW motor may be a harbinger of the Husky future.
