I am in need of a valve spring retainer collet for a 650 terra the part is discontinued by husky and I have had no luck finding one.

If the problem is just the collet I'm fairly positive that you can use the BMW 650GS part 11347700252, but are you sure that Husqvarna part 8533257 is not available around?

The part 8533257 is discontinued,no longer available unless you could find old stock somewhere. the bmw 650 part is different it has 3 ridges for the valve stem the husky only has a single ridge. still looking.

I also hit a dead end with "discontinued" parts for my TR650 engine rebuild, but these guys had them. I had to wait over a month for them to come in from Austria, but worth checking out: https://www.ktmpartspro.com/
