Just inherited my wifes grandads tools he was a wheelwright and coach builder you can see where his hands have worn the handles through years of work, got the wooden planes he used mounted in the lounge room for display .

I went from an auto mechanic, machinest, machine rebuilding, machine building, building machines to manufacture parts for the us army m1 Abrams tank, building 155mm howitzers for the us army, lead engineering tech. My point is nothing is recession proof. I just kept on changing my trade.

lets not forget...gm and chrysler were bailed out with government help. ford was not. im not saying they dont have issues, but dont lump them in that mess. they did it on their own.
