    Oh, no, I'm not offended at all. I personally would not care if I had to race against someone with a '75 WR in Sportsman, I think it would be silly to gripe about that bike in Sportsman. All I can tell you is that people have been successfully protested for both the 75 WR and 6 speed transmissions in '74 engines in the past, and if you ran into the wrong person who wanted to press the issue you would also lose.

    I should add that no one in cross country will care but the MX guys are very picky about stiff like that.
