Christmas to New years in Ocotillo Wells

I had to delay departure... I'll be there 27th (Thur) mid to late afternoon.

It's looking like Sat or maybe just Sun. We're in the last week of 2012 and I can't get out from underneath work.

Great Weekend in Ocotillo Wells. Perfect weather, low dust and great trails.

Made it out Sunday. Weather was nice - lots of people out at the local tourist attractions (Pumkin Patch, Gas Dome and Artesian Spring). I think gas dome is getting bigger, by the way (Can't wait for that baby to blow!!).

My Pops mapped out a pretty good loop. Not a real challenging loop, but a pretty fast loop.

Hit snow on the way up the mountain through Ranchita - pretty cool.

What a muddy mess if that blows Pumkin patch seems to be shrinking.

This year I seen many more husky on the trail
