Broken drain bolt

yeah- it's a weak-assed composite magnet. The field strength is low (low flux density?? CRS) and they seem to break apart easier.

...but it's w-a-a-a-a-y better than nothing. The stuff I find on it is fairly fine ferrous material- and not much of it at that. So I'm probably gonna stick with it (hah). but sometimes I can't stop screwing with a good thing, so who knows?

Yep same, almost like a thin graphite paste comes off mine with the oil change, not much, but I'm glad the magnet traps it.
