My 2012 TE250 has a little bog very early in the throttle. Even after the bike is warmed up, the first 1/2" of throttle doesn't respond much at all. If I hold it there at 1/2" throttle, it will rev up as expected after the delay. If I pull past the 1/2" it will also rev normally.

Anyone have ideas? I'm newish to the forum and would appreciate any help.

Crazy idea-is the fuel fresh-my 310's are like that with stale fuel.
Also try running some injector cleaner through the system via the fuel.

GHTE, that is a good suggestion. The gasoline has not been sitting in the tank for any extended period of time, but that's not to say that it couldn't be foul somehow.
I'll try the injector clearer. It certainly can't hurt.

Check for cracked intake manifold, engine cant handle more air leaking in at low RPMs, can handle more air at higher RPMs.

I had that problem and replacing the coolant temp sensor was the fix.

Maybe set your TPS with I-beat if you have it.
