The 510 spacers add 1/2", Rox Risers add 2" (I think they also have 1-1/8" risers, but I don't know if they clear the upper clamp).
I picked up these and love them. Lots of adjustability to find that just right spot. The ones I went with were the risers that mentioned no need for longer cables. 1&1/2??? THe 1&1/8 size is the reference to the fat bar diameter vs the common skinny bar 7/8th size I think. I'm the guy standing on the trail, dirt road, interstate, etc so some RC highs are in my plans. ANother option for you would be some new handlebars. Quite a few high options available. Cody
+1 On my short list as well. I've gotta have something on there, stance is too hunched over. And I'm only 5'10. BTW, what's wrong with the spacers that go under the stock bar mounts?
CJBrown I have the spacers under them now, I stand allot and feel that they need to be a little taller. I think I will order the Rox and give them a try. Then sell the spacers once I get the bars dialed in. Sethro
SW-Motech also make variable adjusting bar risers - I have a set on my HP2 and am very happy with them and they look OEM (available in both black and silver). I am considering a pair for the TE.
I put HDB guards on mine and they are raise the bars a tad over 1". I'm just under 5'10" and definitely need the extra height.
I drew these up and had the machinist at work make them: I should have matched the radii of the stock risers, but I'm looking at this as a temporary measure until I (eventually) install a steering damper and higher bars. I'm 6'-3", so it's a long way down to the grips. These raise the bars 1-3/4", so it helps. I did need to reroute the brake line to the rear of the triple clamps. In the stock position, it got a little tight at full right lock. If anybody wants them, I've got a second set.
Yeah they have a whole range to design your own setup - very cool but unfortunately no integral steering damper towers ????
I'm 6'-1" and stand a lot, the oem setup feels pretty good to me. Gets me up over the bars a bit, which I like. I have a set of Rox Risers I took off my 525, but I don't need that much rise. A CR Hi bend is my favorite bar and might do the trick - but I don't need/want a change bad enough to add another set of oem bars to the stack under my workbench.
Guys, need help here. Want to get vibration reducing rox bar raisers for my te 630 (they give 2 inch raise and are fore 1 1/8 handlebars) http://www.amazon.com/Rox-Speed-FX-...HWL4/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1333902907&sr=8-2 Will my existing cables work, or I have to plan the expense of getting new cables, and labor to re-route? thx
