    I am as cautious as anyone but my only tools after the breaker was a hammer and that was too risky as was standing on the breaker bar. With very little added and controlled force it came loose. Some kook at the factory installed these :rolleyes:

    No issues with the lower chain runner.
    Can't say how many links the chain has - I think it was a 118, and I just cut a few links off to suit, with the wheel fairly well forward towards the swinging arm.

    Just heard that my new chain isn't coming - I'll have to source another one - don't you love fleabay?

    I was using a 14 front and 42 rear. I swapoed the front to a 17 and 42vrear. Huge difference.
