Have 85 hours and noticed around 60-70 hour suspension starting to get harsh so oil must be toast. Thinking about getting suspension done by Kreff and getting revalve option on forks. Very expense $1200.00 wonder if anybody has tried the Kreff revalve stuff yet.

At around the same hours on my 2017 TE300 I just had the forks serviced (no revalve, just oil) and a cleanup. Changed the CC's very slightly after seeing that I was not using the complete stroke. Felt like new again. Would try the simple change before spending the big money on the Kreft set up. Unless you were really fighting the suspension before. For me, it has been great!

No I really liked the suspension originally worked good maybe a little stiffer front spring as I was using preload adjuster to keep forks up in stroke that would be it. Was very surprised how much they changed after 60 -70 hours. Also alway hoping for better if possible. Thanks for your help.

Got a question for all of you 2 stroke guys as this is my first 2 stroke. How often are you guys doing a top end job on your bikes? I have a little over 3,000 miles on mine and it is still running flawlessly but i would like to keep it that way and not blow anything up. I know this has prolly been asked on this forum a dozen times but i cant seem to find a thread so figured i would just ask.

Thanks in advance for the info!!

I did mine @ 80 hrs and ill tear it down again at 160. I’ve heard some say up to 200 hrs but I wouldn’t go that far. Depends on how hard you’re riding and well the bike runs. I pulled mine out @ 80 and it looked great.

bingo great point- if the spring rates are right for the rider weight/style of riding a simple service of the dampers every 20-40 hr. is key for proper damping action and longer bush life etc. mreeep mreeep!

I was planning on doing my bike at 100 hours. Bikes got 85 hours now and just did compression test 185 psi the same as new and bike has been ridden as hard as I can ride it.

I did my top end at around 70hrs.
Really depends on how you are riding it.
I put a full hare scramble series in this year on top of lots of trail riding.
When working it that hard, better safe than sorry.
Piston was perfect, rings were a little soft.
Changed it all anyway, used stock components. Cleaned PV.
    Using AMSOIL Saber @80:1.

Got a random question for you... what kind of oil are you running? My 16 recommends bel-ray but I see everyone running a blue oil.... what is it?

My premix is the AMSOIL Saber @80:1.
I run Bel Ray Gear saver 80W-85 in the engine.

Next time I roll the bike out I will take a picture with the studs.
Enduro that was supposed to take place on Sunday has been postponed until the 11th, so no seat time this weekend.

Here is a shot of the bike after a hare scramble this fall instead. IMG_5379.jpg
