The 17 can easily be done.
And also the 10 if you have a welding tool.

Fill to the screw in the cover, approx 900 ml to a litre.

You mean that i need to lye down motorcycle on the side and fill oil till metal screw on side? Because i filled 2 liters of oil and then bike is vertical there is not enough oil if i open plastic screw on top of gearbox.

No need to lay the bike down.

Hope this helps to answer your question.

    Hello guys !
I just bought a 258 Military here in France, it is a very early model, pré série ?
the papers says 1977, and it has some différences : short silencer welded to the pipe, Bosch ignition, turn signals, VDO speedometer on rear wheel, Trelleborg trial tires, shorter shock absorbers, civilian front mudgard painted, big Hella rear light, tool box. I am looking for a ski kit, in particular the steel engine mounts (or a sketch or drawing with dimensions View attachment 97560 View attachment 97560

    to fabricate them here)
Also, I would like to have a military front mudgard
    Thank you
    Henri

Looks like the engine is based on the 360 not the 420, the same as my 258!
