I've got motion pro spoons with closed end wrench and am taking inventory of our tire/tube repair kit. I've got a 27 MM spoon that feels almost too loose on both rear axle nuts - I don't have any 26 MM wrenches or sockets. Is 27 MM correct? The 27 MM spoon is aluminum and I don't want to spin the wrench or axle nut god knows how far from help. Tell me it's 27MM and I'll go buy a socket that fits better.

    Thanks.

    It's 27mm

If you're going to spend the money on a new socket, I might recommend an impact socket: they tend fit better and are usually 6pt. My 12pt 27mm socket (1/2" drive) does not have the greatest fit on the axle nut either- and it's the axle nut's fault.

I have a set of tire iron/wrenches similar to yours; they fit good. But that's because it's 32mm with a 27mm insert.

I have a set identical to these with 'Motion Pro' branding on them.
Great quality and super light for your riding pack
