Hey everyone, so i've decided it's time to go to a 250f. I have found a mint 2012 Husky TC250r, with 19 hours from new.

I'd like to hear from the owners of these bikes and what they think of them. My 2010 TC250 had terrible hot start issues and headshake/handling problems, but my 2013 CR125 was a massive improvement in the handling department.

I'm also hoping a 2012 model would have more power, but i did read one review, where the rider thinks a 125 2 stroke would be faster? Is this true or is this just to do with the $$?

Also, i'm looking for a sticker kit that fits on the Italian huskys but has the KTM-Husqvarna colours.

    Cheers,

    ~Elias

The 2012 is still kick start only, but if you lived with a 2010 TC250 then starting the 2012 takes no more than a breath on the kick starter to get going. Forget all those hat start issues.

They are light and handle great! Brakes are awesome.
Power is great for woods but a little soft for MX unless you weigh 140#.

I loved the one I rode and would buy one in a heartbeat if it had a license plate.

The 2012 TC250 solves the three problems the 310 x-lite has: One the marginal E-start system, because it does not have one. Two, the propensity to boil the gas in the tank if you ride super slow technical stuff in the summer because the cyl head is 1/2" from the bottom of the gas tank and three, the habit of the tank rubbing a hole in the coolant hose because of the aforementioned tight tank clearance.

    It's a good bike.
