well, since you've already had a fuel system problem, I'd look there first. run a 1/4" hose from your fuel outlet back into the tank. Confirm you have a good strong flow of fuel (it might take turning the key on multiple times if there is a 2 second time-out). weak flow? look at the pump, the filter (clogged and spilt), the internal fuel lines, or even the fuel pressure regulator.

check for a clogged injector next.

I'm not sure about the dash light- maybe someone will chime in.

...and I agree with ghte: that bike looks great.

Thank you Trenchcoat85, i will try all that. I am going to get a ims tank first and replace fuel filter. Then go from there........

The 09's and 010's can short out wire on the frame. When you take your tank off run the wires and look for chaffing.
Also the temp sensor at the back of the cylinder can be off and cause some starting issues. I understand it tells the engine it is hot when its not and makes it difficult to start and run. One test-when its cold if the fan comes on when you start her up the temp sender is Kaput.

Thanks for reporting back- helps future readers.

How did you discover the problem? (I'm assuming it was the TPS/MAQS?)

Husky dealer swapped one out from another bike I'm told. Ran well, then new one ordered from Europe. Long wait for parts.

Shane: it's a little late to mention this, but save your old parts. The MAQS might be fixable and I gotta imagine it's gonna get rarer as time goes on.
