    Oops here should be the custom springs. Full length and .4 instead of Oem .325?

    The 250 forks work well with these springs. Was contemplating going stiffer but was worried the fork damping may not cope and become too fast on the rebound.

    Only time will tell if they perform ok with the added weight of the 400. :confused:

    should be less weight with 400, the hole in the barrel is bigger!

    likely a small weight difference..the outer part of the jug and head is much bigger, alot with the crank cheeks. thats about it tho.

    Thanks great info there. I've gone for the second option stiff ITC upgrade rears so think they will cope ok.I run the softer ones on the 250s.

    I'm on vacation as you guys call it at moment but when I get home I'm looking forward to finishing the build

    as far as suspension is concerned there should be no difference between motors unless your riding style is different between motors.

    Fitted my forks, changed the oil to 20w and added my 'custom' springs
