    I can't answer that question however the following may be a contribution.
    my88te510 carb has no accellerator pump, the 99te 410 has an accellerator pump and the cold start lever has a cable. I think on the 99 577cc four strokes (610?) one model has an accelerator pump the other does not. I would think something more modern with a hot start button like Andy used in a thread on here lately would be preferable. post 7 above

    if you are willing to spend the money on a new dellorto, there are much better choices out there.

    ive considered aleccy but this is a pretty original scooter in great condition and I feel keeping it standard would be a good idea.

    I don't plan to ride it too much, just at select rides where there is no sandy mud to wear it out in two hours...but the current carb is pooh and is badly worn. I think its a phm 40 but I couldn't find one when I looked...now I see why! I looked in English!

    maybe you could just route the exhaust into the frame and have it puff out of the ends of the subframe? that way it would still have dual exhaust?:)

    I would prefer a 2-stroke twinshock frame with the LC 4-stroke motor.
