I have a 1977 Husky 360 auto I plan on racing in vintage events though from what I gather the automatic engine[IMG] would not be all that cost effective to run consistently. I want to put another engine in it but I don't know what engines/years will fit in this bike.

Can anyone tell me what I could use that will bolt into this bike?

    Thanks a lot,

    -John

Any motor 75-76 250-360, & 77-80 250 or 390 but with 390 you'll need to make new front motor mounts. The 390 use 2 front bolts
where 360 only use single mount bolt.

If you use any other motor other than the 360 auto or 390 auto you will need to use a different set of front motor mounting plates and the correct rear mounts. The auto and 125 had the swing arm pivot/rear mount built into the motor cases. Hope this helps!
