As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Bing has some parts available for the 54I'd like to get a rebuild kit for the Bing 54 (36mm?) on my WR 250. On the flat plate of the carb it says "1/36/108." The engine number on the bike is 2037 0174.

when you put the mikuni on is the 45 pilot the only changes you made to carb?im here in illinios at sea level just got carb from him last night and my 74 wr250 wont start even with the 45 pilot he sent with carb.
my bing was worn out butt bike ran and started just fine with it.any suggestions?i just finished the restore recently and trying to finish fine tune the carb.all new seals and gaskets in the engine

yes it has bright blue spark and runs with the stock bing carb ust not as good as it should due to worn needle and jet needle.
got back at it today needle was in 3rd clip from top had a 310 mj as 1.5 turns out.
long story short changed needle and mj settings runs very good.i will just needle to do plug readings now to verify that i have it set properly.
my issue was chuck at husky junk said it would be close as he sent it to me.absolutely to lean to run.
