FE/FC '15 501 MAE instrument cluster - spare input?

So while putting the light kit on my 501 I saw there is an unoccupied input going into the instrument cluster? Anybody have an idea what its for?

Cant find any info on the instrument cluster itself or any internal wiring diagram. I'd sure like a tacho!

You could also use an hour meter that doubles as a tach, mounted in a prominent place. On the instrument cluster there could be unused indicator lights on board. You would have to measure the voltage from an existing input to verify that it is 12V. Then you could jumper the input to test what (if anything) lights up. Cam.

Hmm, never noticed anything on my 2014 FE501. I was behind the headlight a few times too. Subscribed

Is the intrument cluster unique to the bike or is it shared with KTm or other. Cam.
