I have an 06 TE 610 with less than 2k miles and it's pretty cherry. I bought it with 1500. I fixed some small things and added an arrow muffler and a JD jet kit. It starts and runs great and everything works as it should......however..... it's not very powerful. i'm coming off a couple husabergs and a beta 500 and have some idea of what I expected out of 570cc. I don't expect a race engine but I expected more. The only thing I could imagine that could be wrong is maybe the cam could be off a tooth but I never had it out and I don't think the PO did either
The 610 responds very well to "pipe and jet" and should be about the same as the Beta 500 ....i have a few 610s and a 2017 beta 500. The feel is a bit different between the bikes, but when you race them side by side, they are virtually even ...i have done just that with my son Beta wheelies a lot easier, and feels stronger, but it is not any faster, especially after 80mph
