Hey all, so I'm new to this site and wanted to ask around to see what could be wrong with my bike. The problem: after riding for 30min or so and I try to shift up or down I am unable to. It feels like the gear lever seizes up, cannot even move the shifter up or down. But once I park it for a couple hours it works again until 30 min later. I am able to engage and disengage the clutch, rev freely... I just cannot shift what so ever after those 30min. I was told it could be clutch slipping, so changing out the friction and pressure plates could fix it. But no where online sells these atm, everything is back ordered. I've been waiting 4 months now and still nothing :/ What my question is, could replacing the clutch assembly truly fix it and has anyone had this problem before.
Check your master cylinder for your clutch it may be low on fluid or it may need to be bleed out mine was doing that and the slave cylinder was leaking fluid into the crankcase I replaced the slave cylinder with a zipty housing and a 7602 racing piston with x seal that is the ticket
