• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

The stock of 4CS Compression Adjusters has been re-filled. If you've been waiting on these for your suspension service needs, the wait is over. Sure there's lots of other companies offering this mod to 4CS forks, but they all got the idea from us!

Well all Cafe inmates, I brought my forks up to ZipTy for a service (Ty had already performed the 4CS redo). My request after more discussion was to stiffen up the Comp stack, and continue with my current spring selection, .46 well I now have 2 days in northern Baja Ca. and 2 days of fast riding in our local well known zone.
Its is so where I imagined it could be. Magic mind reader. The chassis balance is so good and front is so good at HSCD hits I was slamming vert ledges and popping right over , I did before the comp stack update as well but with less control. Another great job by ZipTy Racing Suspension service and they finally got some trick fork stickers for advert!!!

Just a reminder that if you are waiting for the snow to melt, and can't think of any more winter maintenance to do to your bike...

When was the last time you serviced your suspension? Even if the seals don't leak, and you have it all dialed in, fresh oil and inspection for worn or damaged parts can keep your riding season worry free.

If you can't remember the last time you had it checked out, this might be the time. The current pricing is listed in the first post above.

Hey Inmates!

Just wanted to remind you that no matter what you ride, we service and revalve all types of bikes. Old to new, Ty has got you. We just went through my new Beta 200 race suspension and I can't wait to test out this weekend. Remember that we will work with you to get it right. You don't have to think this is a one and done kind of relationship.
